Welcome to Texas Star Performance Horses – Where Passion Meets Performance

Owned and operated by Amanda Nicholson and Neil Faint, Texas Star Performance Horses (TSPH) is dedicated to supporting your campdrafting journey from conception to competition. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for the top levels, we are here to guide, challenge, and inspire every horse-and-rider combination.

Breeding Excellence You Can Trust

At Texas Star Performance Horses, we know that exceptional performance starts with exceptional genetics. Our sires—Duckrey, Nonda Entrepreneur, and Blackhat Tribute—boast bloodlines that include Dual Rey, Docs Freckles Oak, Docs Spinifex, Acres Destiny, Hazelwood Conman, Docs Boab, Peter – FS HSH, Jack – IS HSH, Kempton Park Adgile – HSH, Cecil Bruce – IS HSH, Rivoli Ray – IS HSH, and Jericho – IS HSH. These bloodlines are renowned for producing versatile, athletic, and intelligent horses with outstanding ability, temperament, and trainability.

Through careful selection of both stallions and broodmares, our breeding program is designed to produce youngstock that excel not only in campdrafting and performance events but also as reliable, trainable partners for life. Every foal is bred with the goal of combining natural talent, strong conformation, and a calm, willing temperament—ensuring they have the potential to thrive both in the arena and as a lifelong equine companion.

Developing Horsemanship & Campdrafting Skills

TSPH is more than breeding—we’re a hub for developing true horsemanship and refining campdrafting skills. Through personalised private lessons, immersive two-day campdraft clinics, and premier events, we provide riders of all levels the opportunity to build confidence, sharpen technique, and deepen their connection with their horse. Each session is tailored to challenge, support, and inspire both horse and rider, whether you are just starting out, working on foundational skills, or preparing for high-level competition.

We are also committed to giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from our small group clinics goes directly to supporting local charities and initiatives. By participating in our programs, riders improve their skills while contributing to causes that make a positive difference—helping the next generation, supporting rural and equestrian communities, and fostering a culture of generosity within the sport.

Connecting the Community

At TSPH, we understand that campdrafting is more than a sport—it’s a community. We offer tailored corporate partnership opportunities, helping businesses and organisations create meaningful connections with the campdrafting world while supporting local initiatives.

We actively foster strong relationships—not just between horses and riders, but also among participants, families, and supporters of the sport. Through sponsorships, donations, and our ongoing commitment to charitable causes, TSPH strives to strengthen and give back to the community that makes our work possible. Whether it’s supporting emerging riders, contributing to local projects, or promoting equestrian welfare, we aim to make a lasting, positive impact on the people, horses, and communities we are proud to be part of.

Building Lifelong Partnerships

At Texas Star Performance Horses, we don’t just raise champions—we cultivate lifelong partnerships between horse and rider, and between people and community. Explore the world of TSPH and let us help you achieve your campdrafting dreams, one step at a time.
